Sicily Vacation Guide

Filicudi Beaches, Sicily

Due to the large quantity of heather present across the island, the name Filicudi derives from Ericusa (it is referred to the massive presence of heathers on the island).

Considered a jewel of Sicily, this small island has just 300 inhabitants who maintain the environment to a very high standard. For this reason, it boasts a seaside made of clean turquoise water and lots of secret caves.

It has just one little beach close to the village with a pebble bay and if you love sightseeing, Capo Graziano is located in the southern part of the island and has a prehistoric village dating back the Bronze Age.
