The cool season lasts from mid-June to mid-September, with an average daily high temperature below 25°C (77°F). The mountain plateau is around 5°C cooler and it can rain here at any time of year.

From June to August, the weather can get cool, with some brief showers. However, during this period it’s more comfortable for hiking and sightseeing the many attractions of Mauritius, such as Pamplemousses, Chamarel, Grand Bassin, etc.
