Bursa Cable Car, the first cable car line of Turkey, was opened in October 29, 1963. It was also served with the same technology until 2012.

Its technology, infrastructure and stations were completely renewed and modernized in June 2014. And it started to offer a completely different travel pleasure.

With a total of 144 cabins, it offers you fast, comfortable and safe travel. It offers a comfortable journey with its 1500 passenger capacity per hour, cabins for 8 people, aerodynamic design that prevents vibration, hydraulic doors with automatic control system, and central electrical system.

In addition, uninterrupted transportation is provided day and night, rain and snow.

History

The initial line was an aerial tramway built by the Swiss company Von Roll Holding to enable easy access to the country’s biggest ski resort area on Uludağ.

Construction work began in 1958 and the line opened on 29 October 1963, the 40th anniversary Republic Day.

The base station is situated at Teferrüç neighborhood of Yıldırım district in southern Bursa.
