The construction date of the inn is unknown as there is no inscription on it. The structure was built in “U” form with a single courtyard in three floors. The basement floor of the inn was carved into the rock and the rest of the building made of ashlar.

The building restored in accordance with its original form in 2021 by the Midyat Municipality, is used as the City Museum where artifacts belonging to the Midyat culture are exhibited.
