The city is located in northern Thailand and experiences a largely tropical wet and dry climate with high humidity levels throughout the year.
The average temperature is around 28°C , and the hottest months are April and May when temperatures can reach up to 35°C. Rainfall is common between July and October, although it can still be hot during these months.
The cool season runs from November to February, when temperatures drop below 25°C .
