The museum building, which was designed by renowned architects Peter and Ursula Trint of Cologne, and Dieter Quast of Heidelberg, has been extended to accommodate the growing collection of art.

Bernhard Sprengel, who generously donated his collection of modern art to the city, also provided financial support for the construction of the museum. It is a true marvel of art and architecture, and a must-visit for any art enthusiast.
